Troops repel ISWAP attack on military base in Borno

On Monday afternoon, November 8, troops repelled an attack on a military base in Tamsukawu, a community in the Kaga local government of Borno state. Terrorists from the Islamic State of West Africa Province are suspected of carrying out the attack (ISWAP). The military was able to resist the attack, although it is yet unknown whether any people were injured. The attack on Monday was the second in a week in the same area.
