Search and rescue operations are underway to locate a laborer who was trapped under a mountain of soil when a well 30 meters deep suddenly collapsed in the Aqaba governorate. According to a Public Security Department statement on Tuesday, a report came in about two men, who had been carrying out maintenance on a well, being trapped under soil when the well collapsed. The Civil Defense Department and the Aqaba Police Department pulled one of them out earlier today and transferred him to the nearest hospital, it added.
