MIKATI IN TRIPOLI TACKLES NORTHERN CITY AFFAIRS, EDUCATIONAL ISSUES

Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Friday spent his day at his residence in Tripoli, engaging in a series of meetings and discussions addressing the city’s situation and the broader conditions in the northern region.

The PM welcomed various delegations and reviewed their demands, which are primarily related to service provisions.

Moreover, the Prime Minister held a phone discussion with the Caretaker Minister of Education, Abbas Halabi, concerning the “Educational Guidance Middle School” in Zgharta district. The school’s licensing decree was revoked by the Cabinet due to some of the licensing documents being deemed illegal.

Following the discussion, property owners of the school building were contacted, reaching an agreement to allow teaching activities to continue until the end of the current academic year.

This decision aims to facilitate students and teachers in completing the academic year.
