JUDGE ABU SAMRA POSTPONES LOOKING INTO STATE’S LAWSUIT AGAINST RIAD SALAMEH UNTIL MAY 18

Beirut First Investigative Judge Charbel Abu Samra has postponed looking into the State Prosecution’s lawsuit against Central Bank Governor, Riad Salameh, his brother Raja Salameh, and his assistant Marianne Hoayek, until forthcoming May 18. The decision came after the lawyers of the defendants submitted a memo objecting to the lawsuit filed against their clients by the Authority of Cases at the Ministry of Justice without prior permissions of the finance minister.
