Deal signed to employ 500 doctors in national vaccination campaign

The Ministry of Health and the Jordan Medical Association (JMA) signed an agreement on Sunday, under which 500 JMA-registered doctors will participate in the nationwide vaccination campaign and serve at healthcare facilities until the year-end. During the signing ceremony, Minister of Health Firas Hawari said that the agreement will facilitate the digitization and management of the vaccination program in all regions of the Kingdom. The collaboration between the Ministry and the JMA, funded by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, aligns with the Ministry’s participatory approach across its different areas of operation, positively impacting the quality of health services delivered to citizens and residents, added Hawari. Ziad Zoubi, the head of JMA, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry for involving doctors in the vaccination campaign and utilizing their support in health centers, emphasizing the need to maintain electronic records of vaccinations.
