Ramallah – Ma’an – Today, Saturday, Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a vehicle in the village of Bil’in, west of Ramallah.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces opened fire on a vehicle as it passed near the street adjacent to the Separation and Apartheid Wall, but no injuries or damage were reported.

THE NETHERLANDS CLOSES ITS EMBASSY IN TEHRAN AND ITS CONSULATE IN ERBIL AMIDST TENSION IN THE MIDDLE EAST

The Netherlands decided to close its embassy in Tehran and its consulate in Erbil tomorrow, Sunday, as a “precautionary measure in light of the increasing tension in the region,” according to “Russia Today”.

It indicated in its statement that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs took this decision in light of the increasing tensions between Iran and Israel and that the Ministry will decide on Sunday whether to open consular offices on Monday or not.

It confirmed that anyone who has an appointment has been or will be notified in a timely manner and the appointments will be rescheduled.

The embassy published a dedicated phone number in case there is an urgent need for assistance from the embassy or consulate general, and confirmed that all Dutch diplomatic missions in the region are closed to the public on Saturdays.

This comes as the world anticipates an Iranian attack against Israel in response to the recent targeting of the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

Palestinian calls to confront settler attacks

Ramallah – Together – Palestinian forces, committees and institutions launched calls to confront settler attacks, which have escalated since yesterday in the wake of the killing of a settler in the West Bank.

The national and Islamic forces in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate called on ‘to maintain a state of alert, and constant and continuous vigilance, to thwart the malicious plans aimed at uprooting our people from their land, and to work with all channels of cooperation, coordination, and epic internal solidarity of our people.’

It also called, in a press statement, to “thwart the attempts of the colonialists aimed at terrorizing Palestinian villages and towns with the ugliest forms of terrorism and brutality.”

She urged “the necessity of activating the popular guard and protection committees, and burning tires at the entrances to villages and towns adjacent to the colonies.”

It called for “taking the necessary measures and procedures to provide villages and towns with the elements for survival and s
teadfastness, supporting farmers and marginalized popular groups, working on the largest campaigns at the international level, and taking immediate action to stop these crimes and aggressive acts against the Palestinian people.”

For its part, the Factional Coordination Committee in Nablus Governorate called on the people to confront the settlers and the Israeli occupation army.

The Coordination Committee called on ‘all village and municipal councils, National Action factions, and all popular committees in the villages of Nablus Governorate to declare a state of emergency and a general mobilization to confront and confront the herds of settlers, defend the people, and protect citizens and their property from the brutality, orgy, and attacks of the settlers.’

For his part, the Governor of Nablu
s called on the people of villages and towns in the governorate to activate the popular guard committees in light of the escalation of settler attacks.

In the same context, the Hamas movement said that “the frenzied attacks of settler militias under the supervision of the fascist settler government are a described war crime.”

Hamas added, “Settler attacks require the leadership of the Authority and the security services in the West Bank to be on alert and exercise their role to protect our people.”

The Islamic Jihad movement said: ‘The attacks of armed settlers on our people reflect the entity’s efforts to plunge the West Bank into a street war.’

The movement added that these “attacks reflect the gang mentality that the entity grew up with.”

The Jihad movement stressed that “the resistance forces will carry out their duty to defend our people with all the means and tools they possess.”

Youth activists, via social media, launched calls to confront settlers, prevent them from attacking homes and property,
and form guard committees to stand up to them.

Many Palestinian towns and villages were subjected to attacks carried out by settlers, including: the villages of Al-Sawiya and Duma, south of Nablus, Al-Mughayir, Abu Falah, Deir Dibwan, and Turmus Ayya, east of Ramallah.

IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARD ANNOUNCES THE SEIZURE OF A SHIP LINKED TO ISRAEL IN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

On Saturday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the seizure of a ship linked to Israel in the Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier, the British maritime security agencies UKMTO and EMBRI reported that a ship had been seized by ‘regional authorities’ 50 nautical miles off the coast of Fujairah, the Emirates.

5 injuries in a settler attack on the village of Abu Falah, east of Ramallah

Ramallah – Ma’an – Five citizens were injured tonight in a new settler attack on the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews dealt with 5 injuries to citizens who were beaten by settlers, and two injuries were transferred to the hospital.

Local sources reported that the settlers attacked the village from the eastern side, and rode in vehicles bearing a Palestinian registration plate after the Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the place. They assaulted and beat a number of young men, wounding five of them, one of them in the head.

The sources added that the settlers fired bullets at the citizens and their homes, but no bullet injuries were reported.

On Friday evening, a citizen suffered fractures in an attack by settlers on the village, while they burned at least 12 vehicles, 4 agricultural greenhouses, and 5 motorcycles.

The young man Jihad Afif Abu Alia (25 years old) was also martyred, and 25 others were injured by live bullets, in
a massive attack by armed settlers protected by Israeli occupation forces on the town of Al-Mughayir, adjacent to the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah.
