Upon Royal directives, RHC chief meets local community leaders in Jerash

In implementation of Royal directives, Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) Chief Yousef Issawi, on Saturday met with a number of local community leaders in Jerash. The meeting was held as a follow up on the meeting of His Majesty King Abdullah with Jerash leaders on Wednesday. Issawi, who is also head of the follow up committee for the implementation of Royal initiatives, stressed the King’s keenness to activate channels of communication with citizens across the Kingdom, to listen to their demands and needs, and to meet the possible ones, in coordination with competent authorities, and according to the available resources. Issawi said that multiple royal initiatives projects in Jerash Governorate’s various regions and camps were implemented, covering various development and service sectors. Issawi added that the implementation of the royal initiatives will continue, as the focus will be on productive and development projects that provide jobs for young people going forward. Attendees lauded His Majesty and the Crown Prince’s visit to Jerash, commending the King’s outreach to the public. The demands of the people of Jerash revolved around establishing and implementing economic and investment projects in all sectors, as they constitute an economic and investment incentive, creating jobs for youth and reducing unemployment, through activation, rehabilitation and empowerment programs. Issawi said that all demands, ideas and proposals will be monitored, added and included with the requests that were submitted during the royal meeting. They will be examined, studied and followed up on in coordination with all stakeholders, according to priorities and resources and in line with the government’s plans and programs and with a follow-up from the Royal Hashemite Court.
