Syrian Science Olympiad team obtained two appreciation certificates in the International Physics Olympiad of 2023, held in Japan from July 10th to 17th with the participation of 87 countries.
Distinction and Creativity Agency told SANA in a statement that the two appreciation certificates were obtained by students Mahmoud Mohammad Zaher Ayroud from Aleppo and Anas Ali Maya from Tartous.
This is the 10th international participation in the Physics International Olympiad.
The Syrian team gained a bronze medal and four appreciation certificates last year.
