This is how the leader Yahya Sinwar was martyred…he fought until the last second

Gaza – Ma’an – Commander Yahya Sinwar was martyred during a battle with a military force that raided a building in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood.

In the details of the battle..

Yesterday at 10:00 a fighter from the 450th Battalion identified a suspicious figure in the building. At 15:00 soldiers from the helicopter identified 3 figures coming out and trying to move from one house to another. Moving between houses. Two of them were covered with blankets, most likely not Sinwar, they advanced in front of him to open the area for him. The soldiers opened fire on them and they were hit and began to disperse. Two entered one building, Sinwar entered another. A tank was called in.

Sinwar was alone in the building. He went up to the second floor of the building. The soldiers fired a shell, threw two hand grenades at him and operated drones. The march sees a person with a wounded hand and his face covered. A masked man is sitting in the room. The masked man realized that the drone was approaching him, so he took
a piece of wood and threw it in the march’s direction. Then the soldiers fired a shell there. In the morning, the soldiers entered the room and saw the face of the body. It turned out that it was Sinwar.

Maariv newspaper says that a military force from the Paratroopers Brigade stormed the building and a battle took place with the fighters who were holed up in the house. As a result, a tank was called in and fired at the building.

The Israeli army spokesman said, “We did not know before the exchange of fire that Sinwar was in the building.”

According to Maariv newspaper, the bodies of three fighters were found this morning during the combing operations. It was later revealed after examining the bodies that Yahya Sinwar was among them.

The newspaper added that the Hamas leader may have been inside the tunnel in which the bodies of the six Israeli prisoners were found before he left.

The discovery of this tunnel reinforced the assessment of the Israeli military and the Shin Bet that Sinwar is in the Tel al-
Sultan neighborhood. The military establishment said that the Shin Bet estimated that Sinwar and Hamas officials are in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood, but they were unable to pinpoint a specific location.

The Israeli army confirmed, on Thursday evening, the assassination of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in the Gaza Strip, while Israeli reports indicated that he was assassinated in the Tel al-Sultan area, in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, stressing that this was done “completely by accident” and not as part of a special Israeli operation.
