QRTA, GEMS Education sign MoU

The Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) and international education company GEMS Education signed a three-year memorandum of understanding at GEMS’s headquarters in Dubai. Under the agreement, all teachers and heads of departments of Arabic and Islamic studies at GEMS schools in the United Arab Emirates will have access to QRTA’s diploma programs designed specifically for teacher training, said a statement by the QRTA on Monday. The CEO of QRTA, Osama Obeidat, expressed that this partnership demonstrates a joint commitment to prioritizing the needs of educators and working collaboratively toward achieving excellence in the field of education. “We are particularly thrilled that our expertise in Arabic language subjects and professional development opportunities will benefit a wide range of individuals and enhance their overall educational quality,” he added Dino Varkey, the CEO of GEMS, stated that the agreement marks a significant milestone in the company’s comprehensive education strategy for 2022, adding that this collaboration will provide their teachers with access to the latest and most advanced educational strategies.
