“Jerusalem Electricity” organizes a workshop on “Rationalization of Electricity Consumption and Safety from Electrocution” at Khadouri University

Jerusalem – Ma’an – The Jerusalem District Electricity Company, in cooperation with the Continuing Education and Public Relations Department at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, Ramallah Branch, organized an awareness workshop on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, entitled “Rationalizing Electricity Consumption and Safety from Electrocution”, as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance community awareness about safe and efficient electricity consumption.

Engineer Rozan Hassoun from the company provided practical advice and guidance on rationalizing electricity consumption in homes and institutions, with a focus on safety procedures that must be followed to protect against the risk of electrocution, which sparked great interaction from students and faculty members.

Engineer Bassam Badr, Director of the Technical and Academic Training Center at the company, also presented a summary of the company’s history and achievements over more than 100 years, in addition to reviewing the activities of the training cen
ter and its contributions to raising the efficiency of workers in the sector.

The company confirmed its commitment to raising community awareness about the importance of energy conservation and spreading the culture of electrical safety among various segments of society.
