The US occupation has brought dozens of military vehicles and containers coming from northern Iraq to its bases in Syrian al-Jazeera through the illegal al-Walid crossing in Hasaka countryside.

A convoy of the US occupation comprising 60 vehicles, including trucks loaded with containers of weapons, ammunition and advanced military armored vehicles, in addition to 40 tankers for stealing oil accompanied by three military vehicles, entered the Syrian territories through the illegal al-Walid crossing, local sources from al-Yarubiya countryside in Hasaka told SANA reporter.

The sources added that the convoy headed to the town of al-Yarubiya, coming from the occupation’s bases in Iraq, and from there the convoy headed to the occupation’s bases in the Syrian al- Jazeera.

The supplies transported on board the vehicles are sent to support the QSD militia, and to arm the terrorist groups near the US occupation’s bases in al-Jazeera and al-Tanf area in the eastern countryside of Homs, which it uses to carry out attacks on residential buildings, the state’s infrastructure, and the sites of the Syrian Arab Army.

The National Earthquake Center has recorded 13 quakes with a severity ranging between weak and medium over the past 24 hours.

The Center said in a statement that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Networks reported that till 7:46 a.m. on Sunday, a weak earthquake was recorded 10km southeast of Lattakia, while six others were recorded in Liwa Iskenderun, two of which with a magnitude of 4 on the Richter Scale, while the four others were weak.

Meanwhile, two weak tremors hit both Lebanon and Palestine and four weak tremors hit Turkey.

The quakes have occurred at different depths, as the depth of the one which hit Palestine reached up to 92 km.

Russian President Vladimir Putin sent congratulations to his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko on the occasion of the Day of Unity of the Peoples of the two countries on Sunday.

The congratulatory telegram of the head of state was published on the Kremlin website.

“Please accept my warmest congratulations on the occasion of the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus. Based on the good traditions of friendship and good neighborliness that bind Russians and Belarusians, our countries and peoples are systematically expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas. The mechanisms of the Union State are also being vigorously improved,” the statement says.

“I am sure that the further build-up of the entire range of allied ties fully meets the interests of our fraternal peoples,” the head of Russia added

The Russian President also wished happiness and prosperity to the citizens of Belarus.

Earlier, Lukashenko also congratulated Putin and the Russian leadership on the Day of Unity of the two nations.

The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, headed by Dr. Ayman Sousan, Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister, departed Damascus on Sunday morning, heading to Moscow to participate in the quadripartite meeting of the assistant foreign ministers of Syria, Russia, Iran and Turkey.

Answering a question by delegate of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Dr. Sousan noted that the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic will hold bilateral consultations with the Russian and Iranian sides on April 3rd, and on the next day, April 4th , it will participate in the quadripartite meeting.

Sousan added that the delegation will focus specifically on ending the Turkish military presence on Syrian territory, combating terrorism, and non-interference in Syrian internal affairs.

In a protest against the cold-blooded execution of Mohammad al-Osaibi by Israeli occupation forces next to one of the gates of al-Aqsa Mosque, and the continued crimes against the Palestinians, a general strike was held in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948.

Wafa News Agency stated that the Higher Follow-up Committee in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948 called for the strike which included the education and economic sectors.

The committee called for organizing stands in all the towns of these territories, in rejection of the occupation’s crimes, aggressive policies and acts of racial discrimination.

It stressed that the crime committed by occupation forces comes within the framework of the occupation’s continued targeting of the Palestinians in Jerusalem and al-Aqsa.
