“A mehfil is a gathering or evening of courtly entertainment of poetry or concert of classical music (particularly Hindustani classical music) and dance, performed for a small audience in an intimate setting.

“No show by local talents with the theme mehfil has ever been conducted in Oman. It will be a great treat for the lovers of ghazals, qawalis and sufi songs which are rare in today’s music world. They should not miss this high quality show,” Dr Sanjay Dalal, the director of the show and founder of Talent Hunters Oman said.

“The singers will be supported by live projections. The set, sound and light will match the theme and bring alive the feel of mehfil,” Haider Naqvi, event technical director said. For free passes of the event contact or visit
