DOHA, — Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir has arrived in Doha for talks with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tameem bin Hamad Al-Thani.

The President was received upon arrival at Doha International AirportThursday by the Qatari Minister of Finance, Ali Sharif Al-Amadi, a number of Qatari officials, the Sudanese Ambassador to Qatar, Yassuir Khidir, and the Ambassador of Qatar to Sudan, Rashid bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Noemi.

Yassir said the Sudanese-Qatari talks would tackle enhancement of bilateral relations, pushing ahead with further joint projects between the two countries, joint co-ordination in all regional and international issues, and expansion of Qatari investments in Sudan.

He added that all previous agreements and Qatari investments in Sudan would be discussed.

The delegation accompanying President Al-Bashir to Doha includes Minister in the Presidency Dr Fadul Abdalla, Minister of Foreign Affairs Professor Ibrahim Ghandour, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Badr-Eddin Mahmoud and State Minister and Director of the Office of the President, General Taha Osman Al-Hussein.
