SUDAN, TUNISIA DISCUSS CO-OPERATION IN OIL AND GAS SECTOR
KHARTOUM, Sudan’s Minister of Petroleum, Azhari Abdul-Gadir Abdalla, has called on Tunisian companies to invest in oil and gas fields in Sudan.
This came when he received here Monday the Ambassador of Tunisia to Khartoum, Imad Rahmouni, and discussed with him prospects for co-operation prospects between two countries in the oil and gas sector.
The two sides affirmed the importance of oil and gas in supporting their countries’ economic efforts and the need to boost their production.
The Tunisian ambassador said the coming period would witness greater co-operation between Sudan and Tunisia in the oil and gas domains and other fields.
He affirmed Tunisia’s readiness to support bilateral co-operation in the oil sector, adding that his country had a long experience in the petroleum and gas industries.
