SUDAN-SOUTH SUDAN JOINT SECURITY COMMITTEE TO MEET IN KHARTOUM
KHARTOUM, The South Sudan Ambassador to Sudan, Mayan Dott, has disclosed that the Sudan-South Sudan Joint Security Committee will hold its next meeting here after the Eid Al-Adha festival.
Ambassador Dott lauded in a statement to SUNA after congratulating President Omer al-Basher on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha at the Republican Palace here Wednesday along with other ambassadors accredited to Sudan, the efforts of the government of Sudan which helped the South Sudanese parties in conflict reach a peace agreement recently.
He indicated that Sudan-South Sudan relations had witnessed remarkable progress during the recent past period, specially after Khartoum hosted the South Sudanese parties in peace talks.
The South Sudanese diplomat congratulated the Sudanese leadership on Eid Al-Adha and hoped that peace and stability would be attained in the Sudan and in South Sudan.
