Sports Minister: Egypt hosting Shooting World Cup reflects 2021 IHF World Men’s Handball success

Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi said Egypt hosting of a shooting on choppers World Cup from February 22 till March 5 reflects Egypt’s success in organizing the 2021 IHF World Men’s Handball Championship in January.

In statements Sunday, Sobhi said Egypt will host a number of world contests within the coming stage including shooting, cycling and archery championships, referring to strenuous efforts to render all tournaments a success.

The minister highlighted ongoing coordination between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Health to secure safety for all sport teams and delegations participating in the events.

Taking part in the shooting on choppers World Cup will be some 31 countries from around the world including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Libya, Lebanon, Sudan, Syria Moroco, Argentina, India, Spain, France, Russia, Denmark, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Greece, South Africa, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Chile, Peru, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Canada, Croatia, Czech, Luxemburg, Norway and Poland, in addition to Egypt.

Sobhi said all delegations and missions that will acccompany the teams will abide by strict medical precautionary measures, set by the Egyptian Health Ministry.
