MUSCAT: Saraya Bandar Jissah, the company building Oman’s newest Integrated Tourism Complex (ITC), announced the release of Zaha as its first residential units for sale.

The Saraya Bandar Jissah development comprises 398 villas, townhouses, duplexes and apartments spread across five residential zones: Safa, Na’eem, Zaha, Nameer and Wajd.

Zaha is the first residential zone to enter the market, it was announced during a press conference held on Tuesday.

The Zaha zone offers three or four bedroom villas, three bedroom duplexes and two bedroom apartments. Surrounded by the Al Hajar Mountains and the Bandar Jissah bay, the Saraya Bandar Jissah site is full of attractive waterfront and mountainside views.

A joint venture between Saraya Oman and the government of Oman’s tourism development and investment company, Omran, it is scheduled for a grand opening in 2017.

Sheikh Hamood bin Sultan al Hosni, CEO of Saraya Bandar Jissah, said, “This event marks the most significant milestone in the project’s timeline. As we release residential properties within the first phase of the project for sale to the general public, I must add that this is an attempt from us to put the sultanate on top of world class tourism.”

An amount of US$660mn has been invested to give the best of the facilities to the people of Oman, he further said.

Roger Beaumont, sales manager, Saraya Bandar Jissah said, “The build up to the sales release has seen a huge number of enquiries generated through our media campaign and online platforms.”

The Saraya Bandar Jissah development project will also have two luxury hotels.
