SEPTEMBER 3, 2014 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Member of the Kataeb parliamentary bloc, MP Samer Saadeh, on Wednesday condemned “the offensive slogans aimed against Christians of Tripoli who are an essential part of the city. These slogans are beyond any religion or sect.”
“Provocations are doomed to failure,” he added, assuring that the people of Tripoli have expressed full partnership through the positions of their leaders and the pulse of their street,” he added.
Saadeh urged security forces “to fulfill their duty and not be lenient vis-a-vis anything that could undermine national unity and coexistence in Tripoli.”
