Ruler of Sharjah orders setting up of fuel station in Al Humriyah to serve fishermen

Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah today ordered the allocation of plot to build a fuel station in Al Hamriyah district to serve the fishermen and road users.

The proceeds of fuel station will go to the Sharjah Cooperative Society for Fishermen.

This was announced by Rashid Ahmed bin al-Sheikh, Chief of Emiri Court in Sharjah during a direct line programme of Sharjah Radio and TV. He conveyed the directives by the Ruler of Sharjah in response to a complaint of Emirati fisherman about lack of fuel station in the district.

Earlier, Sheikh Sultan called on the fishermen to present their issues, stressing the need for media to highlight the issues of fishermen category.
