RAK Ruler receives copy of book “Khalifa bin Zayed…Knight of The Millennium”

WAM RAS AL-KHAIMAH, 25th February, 2014 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has commended the leadership role and the development thinking of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the leadership of the U.A.E. towards the achievements of modern civilisation enjoyed by citizens in various fields, in addition to strengthening the country’s position on the international level to become one of the most active countries in terms of international cooperation and humanitarian aid.

This came when Sheikh Saud received yesterday a dedicated copy of the book “Khalifa bin Zayed…Knight of The Millennium” from businessman Salem bin Ibrahim Al Saman, accompanied by Dr. Waleed Al Saadi, Editor in Chief of Al-Manara Magazine and General Supervisor of the book, in the presence of Fawaz Abdullah Juma Al Tunaiji, Private Secretary of the RAK Ruler, at Al Dhait Palace.

The RAK Ruler hailed the great effort of Al Saman to produce the book, which has an introduction by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

During the meeting, Sheikh Saud lauded the great achievements accomplished by Sheikh Khalifa, who followed the legacy of the founding father of the U.A.E., Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and acquired extensive experience from him, during different national work stages that eventually catapulted him to lead the country efficiently and score unprecedented achievements for the citizens and the country.

Sheikh Saud said that he considered the book “as a reference for generations, in which they can glean from a leader’s experience, who has unlimited contributions to the homeland and devoted all his life since his early life to build the U.A.E. and making its people happy.” He added that the book provided important highlights on the march of the U.A.E. in all walks of life, in addition to successes that have been achieved in record time, which has made the U.A.E. a modern state that races against time.
