Doha, July 24 (QNA) – Bringing the Spirit of Qatar to London during this summer’s Olympic Games, Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) will be participating in Bait Qatar, the official Olympic home for the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) in London during the summer Olympic Games.
Taking part in the excitement and festivities, Qatar will be strongly represented by a host of strategic partners in addition to the QOC, such as the QTA, Aspire Zone Foundation, International Center for Sports Security, Qatar 2022, Qatar Science & Technology Park, Qatar National Bank, Qtel, Qatari Diar, Msheireb Properties, Qatar Museums Authority and Doha Film Institute, QTA said in a statement.
From the 26th July to 12th August, Bait Qatar (Qatar House) will open its doors, to offer the welcoming warmth of Qatari hospitality to the heart of London.
Issa Al Mohannadi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority said: “As Qatar’s National Olympic House has a prime location on the Olympic Route Network, positioned beside the Thames with views across the City, it will provide a dramatic showcase of the culture of Qatar and hospitality of the Middle East. The aim is to raise Qatar’s international profile and promote Qatar and all its national organizations to the world. With the eyes of the world on London, Bait Qatar offers a historic opportunity to change global perceptions of Qatar and the region and also to underline how Doha has become a real centre for sport in the region and sports tourism.”
Bait Qatar will open its doors to Royalty, Heads of State, Ministers, Dignitaries, QOC Members, IOC Members, CEOs and Chairmen, International Sporting Athletes, Local, Regional, and International Media . QNA)
