These projects are in implementation of the directives of the President and follow-up of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces to secure adequate housing for every citizen to ensure family stability and decent living for the citizens.
The approval came following the visit of Sheikh Mohammed to the Eastern Coast, during the tour he received almost 2500 applications from the citizens. The committee after receiving the required documents from citizens approved the construction of 529 residential villas.
The housing projects include the constrcution of 4 residential villas in Abu Dhabi, 4 in Dubai, 231 villas in Sharjah, 28 villas in Ajman, 137 villas in Fujairah, 14 in Umm al-Qaiwain and 111 in Ras Al Khaimah.
It is worth mentioning that the committee has approved the construction of 176 residential villas last month in various emirates within application lists, which has been directed by the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince.
Ahmed Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Committee informed that the committee is examining those applications which were directed by Sheikh Mohamed for building houses.
The committee, with a follow up from H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, has approved replacement and construction of 65 houses on urgent basis and other special cases whose conditions require urgent replacement in order to secure social and family stability.
He also directed the delivery of finished houses 34 in Badia, 5 in Saram, 358 in Izen and 35 in Ahfarah to the beneficiaries.
Al Za’abi said that the committee and other technical teams have shown keen interest on projects of constructing citizens’ houses in implementation to the directives of the UAE President, who deems that houses are an important factor of stability and comfort for the citizen and the family.
Ahmed Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs chaired the meeting of the committee and it was attended by Mohamed Abdullah Al Romaithi, Jabr Al Suwaidi, Saeed Mohammed Al Meqbali, Rashid Al Amri, Mohamed Mohamed Saleh, Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi, Hassan Al Mansouri, Mohammed Al Ma’ini, Mohammed Isa Mohammed and Ali Dhamnai.
