President Aoun discusses regional conditions with Head of Omani delegation

Within the context of his meetings with the heads of Arab delegations participating in the Arab Summit in Tunisia, President Michel Aoun conferred this afternoon with Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Relations and International Cooperation, and Personal Representative of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Asaad ben Tarek Al Said, on the prevailing situation in the region.

The encounter was a chance to review the Lebanese-Omani bilateral relations and the importance of activating them and enhancing existing cooperation.

President Aoun explained Lebanon’s position on regional developments, and conveyed his greetings to Sultan Qaboos and wishes for his health and wellness and the Sultanate’s prosperity and progress.

Attending the meeting on the Lebanese side were Cabinet Ministers: Gebran Bassil, Raya El Hassan, Mohamed Daoud and Saleh El Ghareeb, while on the Omani side was Foreign Ministry Secretary General Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Legal Affairs Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Social Development Mohammed bin Saeed Al Kalbani and Advisor to the Sultan Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Badi.
