Premier lauds cooperation with KSA in promoting social work

Manama: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiyah Palace today Board of Trustees member and Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Foundation of the Award of Princess Seetah bint Abdulaziz for Excellence in Social Work HH Prince Saud bin Fahad bin Saud Al Kabeer and Board of Trustees member and member of the foundation’s Executive Committee HH Prince Salman bin Mohammed bin Faisal Al Saud who are currently on a visit to Bahrain to participate in the 2nd International Conference for Excellence in Social Work.

HRH the Premier received the foundation’s shield in tribute for his efforts to promote voluntary and social work. He underlined the pivotal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in maintaining regional security and stability and helping the Arab and Islamic nations overcome challenges. He underscored deep-rooted ties binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing them as a unique model of relations between countries.

HRH the Prime Minister hailed the visit of the Board of Trustees members of the Foundation of the Award of Princess Seetah bint Abdulaziz for Excellence in Social Work, which reflects strong relations of cooperation between the two brotherly countries. He lauded the foundation’s noble message through its adoption of initiatives aimed at promoting the culture of voluntary, social and charity work. He recalled with appreciation contributions of late HH Princess Seetah bint Abdulaziz Al Saud in promoting social and voluntary work. He pointed out the importance of exchanging experiences between charity and voluntary institutions in Bahrain and KSA, describing social work as one of the tools backing the governments’ development efforts.

HRH the Premier underlined the importance of voluntary and social work in highlighting the noble values characterising the GCC peoples which emanate from the Islamic religion that preaches solidarity to boost social stability and cohesion.

HH Prince Saud bin Fahad bin Saud Al Kabeer and HH Prince Salman bin Mohammed bin Faisal Al Saud expressed heartfelt thanks and respect to HRH the Prime Minister for his keenness on bolstering bilateral relations and supporting charity and voluntary work in Bahrain. They praised continuous development of social and voluntary work in the kingdom, stressing keenness to foster cooperation between the two brotherly countries in this respect.
