The Philippine Ambassador to Amman, Wilfredoc Santos, affirmed the “deep-rooted and strong” Jordanian-Philippine relations, which are witnessing development in various fields. The envoy’s remarks came during a ceremony held by the embassy, Friday evening, on the occasion of Philipines National Heritage Month, celebrated May annually. The ceremony featured Filipino Food Bazaar, which is a joint project implemented by the Filipino community and the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts (RACA). The bazaar aims to increase knowledge on Filipino heritage and cuisine, in addition to enhancing joint cultural cooperation and promoting the two countries as a tourism and investment destination, according to an embassy statement. The ceremony was attended by a number of ambassadors, diplomats, businesspeople, and journalists.
