Abu Dhabi: Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi hosted a conference on the challenges of business regulation in a globalized world while striving for a better society by Marc Leyenberger, Lawyer and Member of the French National Consultative Commission on Human Rights at the university Reem island campus and a member of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance.
The conference will discuss issues related to regulation of globalisation, imposition of new international economic order and the end to the ideology of free financial markets in a world adversely affected by a global financial and economic crisis.
In addition to members of the general public, economists, academicians and other students, the conference was of particular relevance to Bachelor in Law and Economics and Masters of International Law students.
From a business perspective and ideally suited for students of Masters in Banking and Finance, Marc Leyenberger also disclosed the methodology of appropriately implementing corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the business world.
