OFDPM marks Bahrain Women’s Day

Manama:The Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister (OFDPM) today hosted a gathering to mark Bahrain Women’s Day, at Gudaibiya Palace.

The Director-General of the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister (OFDPM), HE Shaikh Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, highlighted the essential contributions made by Bahraini women at all levels and across all of the Kingdom’s sectors, emphasising the central role they continue to play in Bahrain’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HE Shaikh Fahad further highlighted the efforts of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, in the pursuit of women’s advancement, noting that Bahraini women are an active component of Team Bahrain.

For their part, the employees of the OFDPM expressed their thanks and appreciation to the OFDPM for recognition of their efforts on the occasion of Bahraini women’s day, welcoming the continuous support they receive as they work to advance the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.
