They discussed a number of international economic issues and the role of WEF in bringing closer different views of decision makers, who participate annually in the international gathering. Sheikh Mohammed and Schwab exchanged views on the final preparations for the WEF, which will kick off in Dubai on Monday.
He also wished the participants success in reaching common understanding on a number of economic, cultural and social issues.
Dr. Schwab praised Sheikh Mohammed’s farsighted vision for the economic, political and other issues, emphasising UAE’s important role and cooperation with world countries, in addition to great reputation the UAE enjoys at both international public and private sectors.
The meeting was attended by the Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi and Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman.
