Mohamed bin Zayed to visit Japan, South Korea

WAM ABU DHABI, 14th February, 2014 (WAM)–His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will commence a two-day official visit on 25th February to the Empire of Japan, where he will meet Emperor Akihito of Japan, Japan’s Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, senior officials, economic, cultural and social circles in Japan to strengthen friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohamed’s tour in the East Asia region will also take him to South Korea, where he will meet South Korean President Park Geun-hye and South Korean Prime Minister Jung Hong-won in a two-day official visit. While in South Korea, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi will discuss with the senior officials the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and ways to boost them.

Sheikh Mohamed will be accompanied during the two visits by a high-profile delegation, including a number of Sheikhs, ministers and senior officials, representing the economic, investment, energy and education sectors.
