The first week of May saw a decline in the price of oil derivatives on the international markets, according to information made public on Tuesday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The data showed that the price of 90-octane gasoline went down by 12.8 percent, going from $818.5 per ton in April to $713.7 in the first week of May, while the price of 95-octane gasoline declined from $854.9 per ton to $750.3, a decrease of 12.2 percent. Diesel prices also dropped by 13 percent going from $679.9 per ton to $591.9, while the prices of kerosene went from $734.6 to $661.5 per ton. The prices of liquefied gas for May rose by 1.4 percent, going from $547.5 to $555 per ton. Benchmark Brent crude prices declined in the first week of the current month, from $84.9 to $74.6 per barrel.
