We definitely look into raising our medical services provided to the members and society.” Dr. Mariam Shakir, Family Medicine Consultant, stated that the increasing numbers of diabetes patients among all age categories had been noticed in the past years. Statistics reveal that the region faces lots of challenges contributing to the increasing incidence of diabetes, including less physical activity and high rates of obesity.
