Ramallah – Ma’an – The group “Lawyers for Justice” denounced the ban on the occupation authorities for the second time in two days; human rights activist Muhannad Karajeh from traveling, where he was heading to participate in the meeting of the Middle East and North Africa lawyers in Dubai; on freedoms and freedom of religious belief .
Lawyers for Justice considered Karajeh a completion of a systematic attack by the Israeli occupation against human rights activists in Palestine, preceded by travel bans by Amnesty International researcher (in the Middle East and North Africa) Laith Abu Ziad.
The group confirmed its participation in the meeting in the presence of human rights activist Zafer Sa’ayda. It affirms its continuation in its human rights activities, and will not be discouraged by the occupation measures aimed at preventing human rights violations in Palestine from reaching international forums.
The occupation authorities detained Karajeh on Saturday at the Karama crossing for an hour, and then informed him to prevent travel claiming the existence of security reasons, and returned again to prevent him from traveling on Sunday morning.
