LATEST KUWAITI RELIEF AID TO GAZA DISTRIBUTED

GAZA, Palestine, Sept 25 – The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), has started to distribute relief aid materials to the people of Gaza beginning today, and for the next three days, said Deputy Chairman of KRCS, Anwar Al-Hasawi, in statements to KUNA.

A field team form KRCS will distribute at least 10,000 food packages, 5,000 school bags, and 160 tonnes of medications and medical equipment, to needy people all across the Gaza Strip, said Al-Hasawi, while emphasising that the distribution will be carried out, in conjunction with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

In various statements to KUNA, Palestinian beneficiaries of Kuwaiti relief aid praised the Kuwaiti government and people, for their kindness and generosity, recalling at the same time, the UN honouring of the Amir of Kuwait, as a Humanity Leader and Kuwait as a Humanity Centre.

This latest batch of relief aid was carried to Gaza by a convoy of 33 transport trucks.
