KUWAIT, Feb 4 – Kuwait’s Fourth International Arabia Horse Festival, will kick off tomorrow (Thursday), with participation of 565 Arabian horses from 14 countries.
The festival, to be held under the patronage of the Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, will include a competition of beauty for Egyptian Arabian horses, and another one for the open breed horses.
The event will also showcase beauty competitions for one-year, two-year and three-year yearning fillies, as well as, for one to three-year yearning colts classes.
The tournament will be held under the supervision of the World Arabian Horse Organisation (WAHO), said head of the organising committee, Sheikh Ali Nasser Al-Ali Al-Sabah, today (Wednesday).
The competition’s referees are certified by the European Conference of Arab Horse Organisations (ECAHO), Sheikh Ali, also Chairman of the Kuwaiti Arabian Horses Society, said.
The tournament follows rules and regulations of the European body, he added.
