KUWAIT’S FM LEAVES UK AFTER ISLAMIC STATE CONF.

LONDON, Jan 23 — First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah left the UK on Thursday after leading Kuwait’s delegation to the London conference on Islamic State (IS).

He was seen off at the Luton Airport, northern London, by Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Kuwait’s Ambassador in London Khaled Al-Duwaisan and embassy staff.

Participants in the London meeting discussed efforts of the anti-ISIL coalition in the fight against the insurgent group and terrorism in general, for supporting security and stability in the region and the world at large.

The delegation that accompanied Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled included Director of his office Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah and senior ministry officials.
