KUWAIT, Feb 19– Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Chairman Ali Thunayan Al-Ghanim and visiting Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah discussed here on Wednesday the ways of reactivating trade exchange between the two countries and efforts aiming to develop economic ties.
While receiving Hamdallah and his accompanying delegation, Al-Ghanim stressed the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries, lauding historical ties in all domains, especially those related to trade and economic ones.
Al-Ghanim called on the Palestinian side to display their products that have a promising market in Kuwait, calling for developing Palestinian industries and urging Palestinian trade delegations to visit Kuwait to hold talk with the Kuwaiti businessmen.
On his part, Hamdallah commended the depth of relations between the KCCI and its Palestinian counterpart, underscoring the significance of sharing information to increase trade cooperation and provide opportunities for investors.
He unveiled that the Palestinian government is seeking to open a trade center in Kuwait to promote its products and present available investment opportunities.
