KUWAIT: CABINET BRIEFED ON RESULT OF GCC OIL MINISTERS’ MEETING – MINISTER

KUWAIT, Sept 16 — The Minister of Oil and State Minister for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Ali Al-Omair briefed the Cabinet on 33rd GCC oil ministers’ meeting, held in Kuwait last week, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Justice Minister Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said Monday.

Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah told KUNA, following the weekly Cabinet meeting, that Al-Omair also explained issues that were discussed during the GCC oil ministers’ session, namely to unify GCC’s vision on petroleum products pricing, oil prices, and future of oil markets, adding that GCC oil ministers agreed on a unified strategy in this regard.

On another front, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah said Al-Omair informed the Cabinet on a book by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) visualizations of the oil sector and the strategic alternative, which the government is currently preparing to refer it to National Assembly for the next legislative session.
