SEPTEMBER 16, 2014 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Former Minister Salim Jreissati said the Bloc of Reform and Change voiced rejection to extending the parliamentary mandate.
Jreissati’s fresh stance came Tuesday in the context of the bloc’s regular meeting at General Michel Aoun’s residence in Rabieh.
Jreissati said that a new consensual electoral law should have been achieved on the basis of the half by half proportionality between Christians and Muslims.
Turning to the terrorism issue, Jreissati said the war against terrorism must be comprehensive in order to be successful.
