HRH the Crown Prince receives the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, today received the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Her Excellency Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting its culture and heritage sectors, noting they represent a vital component of Bahrain’s rich national identity.

HRH the Crown Prince emphasised the importance of continuing to promote Bahrain’s historical legacy, which stands as a testimony to the many achievements which have contributed to the Kingdom’s continued development, in line with the vision of HM the King.

HE Shaikh Mai presented to HRH the Crown Prince a number of her editorial publications. HRH the Crown Prince wished HE Shaikha Mai continued success in promoting Bahrain’s culture and antiquities.

For her part, HE Shaikha Mai expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince, noting HRH’s continued support to BACA’s efforts in preserving the Kingdom’s cultural heritage.

The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, was also in attendance.
