HRH the Crown Prince meets newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the ongoing successes of Bahraini diplomacy both regionally and internationally, and noted with pride Bahrain’s wide-ranging diplomatic accomplishments over the last five decades.

HRH the Crown Prince further highlighted the efforts and determination of Bahrain’s diplomats and the important role they play in enhancing the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by HM the King.

HRH the Crown Prince congratulated HE Dr. Al Zayani on his new ministerial role, wishing him success in further promoting the Kingdom’s diplomatic policies across the region and the globe.

Further to this, HRH the Crown Prince went on to wish the Advisor to HM the King for Diplomatic Affairs, HE Shaikh Khaled bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, success in his new position and praised HE for the efforts he led advancing the Kingdom’s diplomatic achievements and strengthening the Kingdom’s multilateral relations as the previous Minister of Foreign Affairs.

For his part, HE Dr. Al Zayani expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince, and highlighted the importance of HRH’s directives and guidance towards supporting the Ministry’s various initiatives.
