New York: The Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held a coordination meeting here late Sunday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session.
The UAE’s Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan took part in the meeting.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah, Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs chaired the meeting in the presence of GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdulatif Al-Zayani, and reviewed items to be discussed in the 67th UN General Assembly.
The meeting also discussed pressing issues on the Arab arena noting that the Syrian crisis would be at the top of the GCC agenda in addition to other important regional issues.
