ALGIERS, Algeria, March 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — As a major motor show at the beginning of 2016 and an annual motor event in North Africa, Equip Auto Algeria 2016 kicked off on March 17, 2016 as scheduled. After participating in the exhibition in 2014 and 2015, China’s No. 1 auto brand–DongFeng Motor Corporation (DFM) will appear at the exhibition again this year with AX7 and AX3, boosting the expectation of visitors.
Algeria is an important overseas market of DFM. In 2015, DFM launched its two strategic models–AX7 and A30 in Algeria, and achieved outstanding results. This year, DFM will make brilliant appearance at Equip Auto Algeria 2016 with 10 models, including DFM AX7 SUV, DFM’s second star SUV-AX3, DFM A30, DFM H30 Cross, DFM Joyear XV, DFM Xiaokang Fengguang 360 and DFM Xiaokang K01, K02 and V21. On the afternoon of March 17, DFM held the initial launch and promotion ceremony of AX3 SUV strategic model at SAFEX Expo Center, Algiers. Present will be officials from Algeria’s local government and Yang Guangyu from China’s Embassy in Algeria. Su Weibin, general manager of the Overseas Business Unit of DFM, will deliver a welcome speech. Also present will be nearly 100 guests, including representatives from Algeria’s Ministry of Transport, industrial associations, Chinese institutions and mainstream media.
