ABU DHABI: Chechen Minister for Education and Science Anzor Muzayev hailed the educational advances made by Abu Dhabi’s Emirates National Schools (ENS) and said its teaching methods and curricula match those at world-class schools.
Muzayev, who led a high-level educational official delegation to the UAE, made his remarks yesterday as he visited the ENS’ campus in Al-Manaseer, Abu Dhabi.
During the visit, ENS’ Director General Dr. Kenneth Vedra briefed the Chechen delegation on the Schools which has three campuses in Mohammed Bin Zayed City Campus, Al Ain City and Abu Dhabi City.
According to Verda, ENS which first opened its doors in 2002 offers preschool through grade 12 education programs for students. ENS programs are based upon the educational requirements of the UAE Ministry of Education, for Arabic, Islamic and UAE Studies, and the Model American Diploma Program. The Model American Diploma Program was designed by the Achieve Organization and uses the Common Core Content Standards in English, mathematics and science, as the foundation for preparing students for college and postsecondary learning.
