Arafat Day sermon to be translated into 10 languages

Makkah: President General of the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, has directed during the annual media briefing on the Presidency’s plan for the Hajj season this year 2020, to increase the number of languages used in translating Arafat Day Sermon from 5 to 10.


According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Al-Sudais clarified that the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque will translate the sermon for this year into 10 languages, which are English, Malay, Urdu, Persian, French, Chinese, Turkish, Russian, Hausa and Bengali. The sermon will be available on Arafat Sermon application as well as on Manarat Al-Haramain platform.


Dr. Al-Sudais indicated that this project is the largest of its kind in the world, and that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is ready for its third year in a row to work on this project to deliver the message of Islam to the widest possible audience.
