Al Murr and Algerian Minister discuss strengthening inter-parliamentary relations

WAM DUBAI, 26th February, 2014 (WAM) — Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of the Federal National Council, FNC, and Mahmoud Khedri, the Algerian Minister for Parliamentary Relations, have discussed strengthening cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields, particularly parliamentary, and development between the Federal National Council and the Algerian parliament.

Al Murr reaffirmed the depth of relations between the U.A.E. and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in various fields, praising the benefits of progress and growth over more than four decades and the boom witnessed at all levels due to the keenness of the leaderships of the two countries.

The FNC speaker reviewed the highlights of the evolution of the parliamentary process in the U.A.E. and what they have achieved with the support and guidance of the wise leadership and participation by citizens in the decision-making process, thus contributing to the development process.

Mahmoud Khedri praised the development witnessed by the U.A.E. in various fields, expressing his wish to enhance relations of cooperation between the two countries and further development and prosperity for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
