Ajman Ruler briefed on strategy and plans of Ministry of Education

WAM AJMAN, 11th February, 2014 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has received Humaid bin Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education, in his office at Emiri Court.

Sheikh Humaid was briefed by Al Qattami on the plans and programmes of the Ministry of Education through the present and future phases in light of developments in the educational arena.

During the meeting, they discussed the strategy and programmes of the Ministry to promote educational levels and administrative and teaching staff with emphasis on paying attention to behavioural values and the teacher as a cornerstone in the educational process and the student as an essential hub in order to achieve the best academic and educational results.

Sheikh Humaid commended the efforts of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for their continuous support for the education process and their absolute belief in the role of science in the renaissance of nations and their progress.

He also commended the efforts of the Ministry of Education in promoting the march of education, which is clearly reflected in the growth and development witnessed by the sector.

Sheikh Humaid added that all these achievements urge us to work more in meeting the needs of the educational field and to provide the environment that achieves educational goals.

Al Qattami praised the efforts of Sheikh Humaid in the field of education and his great interest in science, commending his vision and thought in the development of the system of education and stressing that the Ministry takes into account everything that has been reviewed and discussed with H.H. Sheikh Humaid.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ruler’s Representative for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Hamad Al Nuaimi, Director of the Ruler’s Court and a number of senior officials at the Emiri Court.
