AIR INDIA’S MUSCAT FLIGHT MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING IN DELHI

MUSCAT: Air India’s Muscat-bound flight (AI973) was forced to return to the Delhi airport on Sunday night after the aircraft experienced technical difficulties.

The flight made an emergency landing at around 8.45pm after taking off at its scheduled time.

An official from Air India said, “The plane returned after some technical fault was detected. We arranged another aircraft to bring the 85 passengers to Muscat.” He added, “The flight landed at 1.10am at Muscat International Airport on Monday and left for Delhi at around 2am with around 120 passengers on board.”
