95 JUDGES SWORN IN BEFORE SUDAN’S CHIEF JUSTICE
KHARTOUM, Ninety-five newly promoted judges of Grade III took their oath of office before Sudan’s Chief Justice, Professor Haider Ahmed Daffa Alla, here Tuesday at a ceremony which was also attended the two Deputy Chief justices, the Secretary-General of the National Commission for Judicial Services and a number of senior judiciary officials.
The Chief Justice affirmed that this batch of judges represents a base for the judiciary’s 10-year strategy to enhance its performance through training.
He added that in order to support the Judiciary the President of the Republic had helped it attain a number of goals, particularly in support of judges and other workers of the Judiciary.
The Chief Justice said the promoted judges should dispense justice to the people, preserve the deep-rooted Sudanese judicial heritage and commit to neutrality and integrity and to desist from everything that can affect the judicial office.
