Assassination of Head of Hamas’ political bureau after targeting his residence in Tehran


Tehran, Iranian News Agency (IRNA) announced the assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, following the bombing of his residence in Tehran.

In the same context, the Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement published by Iranian media today, ‘ early on Wednesday, ‘The residence of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Palestinian resistance movement, was hit in Tehran, and as a result of this incident, him and one of his bodyguards were martyred.

The statement added that the causes and dimensions of this incident are being investigated and the results will be announced later.

In turn, the Palestinian resistance movement ‘Hamas’ mourned the head of its political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, in a ‘treacherous Zionist’ attack that targeted his residence in Tehran.

Condemning the assassination of Haniyeh – Clashes in Jerusalem towns

Jerusalem – Ma’an – Clashes erupted on Wednesday evening in the towns of Jerusalem, in condemnation and response to the assassination of leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

The clashes began in Shuafat camp, and the forces threw bombs heavily in the streets of the camp, and closed the military checkpoint erected at its entrance. The streets of the camp and the streets leading to it “from Jerusalem” witnessed traffic jams.

The forces attacked passersby with bombs or chased and beat them.

In Silwan, the forces stormed the town, threw bombs randomly, set up checkpoints in a number of streets, and beat young men.

In the town of Issawiya, large forces stormed the town’s streets a short while ago, randomly throwing sound bombs and rubber bullets.

Jerusalem – Ma’an – As the so-called “anniversary of the destruction of the Temple” approaches, the alleged Temple groups have begun preparing to commemorate the anniversary with raids and marches in the city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.

The “alleged Temple groups” called on their supporters to participate in a human chain around the wall of Old Jerusalem, and to raise Israeli flags, on the eve of the so-called “anniversary of destruction” on the twelfth of next month.
